Sharon Kurtz

Sharon Kurtz is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in internal audit, compliance, and enterprise risk management. Currently serving as Vice President of Internal Audit, Compliance & Enterprise Risk Management at NYU Langone Medical Center since May 2015, Sharon has a strong background that includes roles such as Vice President of Corporate Compliance and Internal Audit at the Hospital for Special Surgery from 2008 to 2015, and Vice President at North Shore-LIJ Health System from 2005 to 2008. Prior experience also includes a lengthy tenure at Ernst & Young, where Sharon held the position of Senior Manager from 1989 to 2005. Sharon holds an MBA in Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business.
