Debra Schaller-Demers

Debra Schaller-Demers, MSOM, serves as the Senior Director of Research Integrity and Compliance at New York University since February 2023. Concurrently, Debra acts as an Adjunct Lecturer at the CUNY School of Professional Studies, teaching courses on Research Compliance, Ethics, and Integrity. With an extensive history in research administration, Debra has held multiple leadership roles within the Society of Research Administrators International, including Distinguished Faculty Emeritus, Immediate Past-President, and President. Prior to the current roles, Debra worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for nearly 15 years in various capacities related to research compliance and education. Debra began a career in research administration at Weill Cornell Medical College, contributing significantly to the field since 2002. Debra holds a Master of Science in Organization and Management from Capella University and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Queens College.
