Gregory Weight

Gregory Weight is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in academia and non-profit management. Currently serving as the Director of External Partnerships and Experiential Learning at New York University since March 2022, Gregory has prior experience as the President of the Washington Internship Institute, overseeing an educational non-profit organization that supports undergraduate students and recent graduates. Gregory's earlier roles include Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Coordinator of Student Fellowships and Scholarships at Ursinus College, where responsibilities involved managing academic concerns and improving student retention. Additionally, Gregory has experience as a Visiting Assistant Professor of English and an Assistant Professor, teaching various writing and literature courses. Prior to the academic roles, Gregory worked as an Implementation Consultant at SunGard, aiding small colleges in the implementation of administrative software. Gregory holds a PhD in English from the University of Delaware and a BA in English from Pomona College.
