Harman Gill

Harman Gill currently serves as the Director of Education and Academic Development at New York University, a position held since July 2025. Prior to this role, Harman held various leadership positions, including Associate Chairperson of Critical Care Medicine and Associate Chairperson of Research in Emergency Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals from August 2023 to August 2025. Additionally, Harman co-founded Emergencies Simplified from January 2020 to August 2023 and worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Emergency Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock from August 2016 to August 2023, where responsibilities included serving as Associate Program Director for the IM-CCM fellowship and research director for the DHMC EM residency. Harman's clinical and academic training includes a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine from the Cleveland Clinic and an Emergency Medicine residency at Yale School of Medicine. Educational credentials also encompass a medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from New York University. Harman's diverse expertise is complemented by a multicultural background, being of Indian ethnicity and born in Kuwait.
