Mark Bussell

Mark Bussell is an accomplished educator and curator with extensive experience in photography, documentary work, and project development. Currently an adjunct professor at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Bussell teaches a course focused on documenting Lower Manhattan communities in collaboration with local organizations. At Pearson Education Services, Bussell develops and curates visual content for digital college textbooks, while also contributing as a curator for exhibitions at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. With a career spanning several decades, Bussell has held significant editorial roles at The New York Times and has curated various photography exhibitions, showcasing a profound connection to New York City's diverse cultural landscape. Bussell holds a degree from Pratt Institute.
