Michael Santana

Michael Santana currently serves as the Assistant Director of DEI Programs at New York University since February 2022. Previously held positions include Recruitment Program Assistant at New York University, Talent Associate at Classical Charter Schools, and Career Services Specialist at Harlem Children's Zone. Michael has extensive experience in recruitment, talent selection, and professional development, having worked as a Youth Development/Learning Coach at South Bronx Community Charter High School and a Programming and Advising Coordinator at the University at Albany. Additionally, Michael's background includes roles in diversity and inclusion at the NYS Office of General Services and various retail management positions. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University at Albany and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs at New York University.
