Rachel Harrison

Rachel Harrison is an accomplished professional specializing in research communications and media relations, currently serving as the Associate Director for Research Communications at New York University since July 2014. In this role, Rachel promotes NYU research through various communication channels and manages media relations for several key colleges and departments. Previous positions include Senior Public Affairs Officer and Public Affairs Officer at NYU, as well as roles at Duke University Health System and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Rachel began her career in communications with Euro RSCG Worldwide PR, representing notable clients, and gained early experience as a Corporate Communications intern at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Rachel holds an M.S. in Public Relations and Corporate Communication from New York University and a BA in Communication Studies, Marketing, and French from The College of New Jersey.
