Romain Lopez

Romain Lopez currently serves as an Assistant Professor at New York University, leading the Biological Machine Learning Group, which focuses on applying machine learning techniques to enhance the understanding of biological systems, particularly in immune system dynamics. Prior experience includes roles as a Visiting Postdoctoral Scholar and Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University and Genentech, respectively, where Romain Lopez explored pooled combinatorial genetic screening technologies. Previous positions also include an Applied Scientist role at Amazon, a Research-based Software Engineer internship at Ant Group, a Visiting Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, and a Data Scientist at Cardiologs.
