Ruslan Flek

Ruslan (Ross) Flek is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Mathematics at New York University's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences since September 2021. Flek's diverse academic career includes roles as a Subject Matter Expert in Mathematics and Statistics with Prometric, as well as teaching positions at The Cooper Union, New York Institute of Technology, and The New School, where responsibilities encompassed instruction, curriculum development, and program assessment. Prior experience includes an Assistant Professor role at CUNY-Hostos Community College, with significant contributions to teaching, curriculum design, and the improvement of first-year college experiences. Flek holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a B.A. in Mathematics from Hunter College.
