Scott Waddell

Scott Waddell is an experienced women's soccer coach currently serving as the Head Women Soccer Coach at New York University since August 2023. Prior to this role, Waddell held various coaching positions, including Associate Head Coach at Brandeis University (January 2023 - August 2023), Assistant Women Soccer Coach at Mount St. Mary's University (August 2022 - January 2023), and Associate Head Coach at Brandeis University (September 2020 - August 2022). Waddell began coaching at New York University as an Assistant Coach (August 2016 - September 2020) and has also contributed to the development of players and teams at New Jersey Institute of Technology and Columbia University. Before transitioning to coaching, Waddell played professionally as a striker for Penang FA in Malaysia. Waddell holds a BA in Political Science from Columbia University, completed in 2007.
