Stratos Efstathiadis

Stratos Efstathiadis is a seasoned expert in research technology services, currently serving as the Senior Director of Research Technology Services at New York University since August 2014. With a strong background in high-performance computing, research cloud solutions, and secure research data environments, Stratos has held various leadership roles including Director and Assistant Director of Research Technology Services at NYU Langone Health. Previous experience includes serving as Technical Director of High Performance Computing at Brookhaven National Laboratory and as a Technology Architect. Stratos began a career in academia as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Boston University, focusing on the Muon g-2 Experiment. Stratos holds a PhD in Physics from The City College of New York and a BA in Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
