Violeta Rivera

Violeta Rivera is an experienced professional currently serving as the Undergraduate Program Administrator and Advisor for the Department of History at New York University since April 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble, Inc. from August 2021 to April 2022 and a Development Associate at PRX from July 2020 to May 2021. Violeta also interned with Susan G. Komen® Greater Central & East Texas in Development, Fundraising, and Events in early 2020 and worked as a Development Assistant at the University of Texas-Division of Student Affairs from August 2016 to January 2020. Additionally, a Student Philanthropy Intern at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in mid-2016 and a Longhorn Legislative Aide in the University of Texas Student Government from 2015 to 2016 demonstrate Violeta's extensive involvement in student leadership and philanthropy. Violeta Rivera holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and French from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in 2020.
