Nyuchi Africa is a frontier infrastructure company headquartered in Harare, Zimbabwe. We build the platforms, protocols, and enterprise products that power the Mukoko ecosystem — Africa’s community-owned super app.
Mukoko serves consumers across 17 mini-apps spanning messaging, commerce, publishing, community labour exchange, payments, health, jobs, and transport. Nyuchi serves enterprises through seven products: API Platform, Web Services, Learning, Medical, Logistics, Tools, and SEO Manager. Every Nyuchi product is both a standalone business tool and a door into the Mukoko platform.
Two legal entities govern the ecosystem. Nyuchi Africa builds and operates the infrastructure. The Bundu Foundation governs community tokens and data sovereignty. Three voting shareholders — the founder, a family holding company, and the Foundation — ensure the community’s voice is permanently embedded in corporate governance.
Our core protocols are open source under Apache 2.0. Our philosophy is Ubuntu: Ndiri nekuti tiri — I am because we are.
We are building from Zimbabwe. The constraints are the philosophy.
