Gwénaël TRAN SAUVAGEOT has a strong background in the beauty industry, with extensive experience in various roles at L'Oréal and NYX Professional Makeup. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Make-Up Product Manager at L'Oréal Paris, responsible for operational marketing in the French market. They then moved on to become a Make-Up Marketing Manager for the same brand, leading a team and implementing marketing strategies. In 2009, they transitioned to the role of International Project Manager at Garnier before joining Maybelline NY as the Marketing Director for the Western Europe Zone in 2011. They later became the Marketing Director for Western Europe, overseeing countries such as France, Germany, and the UK. In 2014, they took on the position of Marketing Director for Eastern Europe, managing brands including NYX Professional Makeup and Maybelline NY. Finally, in 2016, they became the General Manager of the Make-Up Business Unit at L'Oréal Russia, where they were responsible for defining the local strategy and leading consumer makeup brands. Currently, Gwénaël is the SVP Global Business Development at NYX Professional Makeup, where they define strategic frames and lead teams to activate the brand across various markets.
Gwénaël TRAN SAUVAGEOT completed their education at various institutions. Gwénaël obtained a Master's degree in Marketing from EDHEC Business School between 2001 and 2003, with a focus on international marketing and communication. In 2003, they also pursued a Master's degree in Marketing & Communication at Prague University of Economics and Business, specializing in strategies for expansion in Central Europe. Prior to that, they completed their preparatory classes at Lycee Montaigne from 1999 to 2001. Gwénaël also holds a Baccalaureat S from Lycée Henri IV, which they attained between 1995 and 1998.
