Michelle Soper

Michelle Soper is an experienced Product Manager and Principal Advisor at NZ Police since November 2018, focusing on integrating technology ethics into new policing technology proposals while collaborating with experts in various fields. Prior to this role, Michelle served as Mobility Programme Manager and Senior Project Manager at Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children, overseeing a technology Business Case for Cabinet approval and managing key stakeholders through complex processes. Additional experience includes project management roles at Child Youth and Family, NZDF, ACC, and the Bank of New Zealand, with a strong emphasis on business analysis and technology implementation. Michelle holds a Master of Management Studies in Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Biochemistry from Victoria University of Wellington.
