Rachael Bambery

Rachael Bambery is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various roles within the NZ Police since January 2003. Currently serving as Executive Director Service & Resolutions, Rachael oversees non-emergency contact operations, including telephony and digital teams, and focuses on enhancing customer experience. Previous positions include Business Lead for the Service Delivery transformation programme and Strategic Advisor for the Evidence Based Policing Programme, contributing to significant organizational improvements. Rachael also has a background in change management, notably with the Child Sex Offender Register, and in performance management. Additionally, Rachael served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Police Executive Research Forum and as Private Secretary to the Minister of Police, facilitating key communications between the Minister and the Police. Rachael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Otago and a Post Graduate Diploma in Criminal Justice from Griffith University.
