Harriet Younghusband

Harriet Younghusband is a seasoned professional in the sports and retail industries, currently serving as the Retail and Licensing Manager at New Zealand Rugby since May 2025. In addition, Harriet co-directs PYRANHA Grip Socks and Apparel, focusing on performance-oriented sock design for athletes since May 2020. Previous experience includes a role as Commercial Partnerships Manager at Hurricanes from February 2024 to June 2025 and as Licensing Manager at Velocity Brand Management from September 2015 to December 2023, where brand growth through licensing initiatives in the rugby sector was a primary focus. Harriet holds a Bachelor of Physical Education with a major in Sport and Leisure Studies from the University of Otago (2009-2012) and has an educational background from St Andrew's College, Christchurch (1994-2007).
