Paula Powlesland

Paula Powlesland serves as the All Blacks Business Manager at New Zealand Rugby since March 2018, overseeing a range of business activities, including contracting, compliance, and travel for the All Blacks team, while also leading the team's efforts for Rugby World Cup 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Legal Manager for Regulations & Compliance, where Paula was responsible for the regulatory framework across rugby in New Zealand, and Legal Counsel focusing on employment law and player eligibility. Paula's legal career also encompasses positions at Maude & Miller, ELEXON Limited, and GTA by Travelport, with expertise in employment agreements, procurement projects, and commercial contracts. Paula holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Social Policy from Victoria University of Wellington.
