Dallas Paotonu

Dallas Paotonu is an experienced procurement manager with a diverse background in strategic and social procurement, spanning multiple organizations within New Zealand's public sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Procurement and Manager of Infrastructure Procurement at NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi since May 2023, Dallas previously led the Social Procurement Team at Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities, delivering the Social Procurement Framework. With a strong foundation in emergency procurement response during significant events such as the Canterbury Earthquakes, Dallas has also held various procurement management roles at Housing New Zealand Corporation, ACC New Zealand, GSB Supplycorp, New Zealand Post, Shell, the Bank of New Zealand, The Treasury, and the Ministry of Education. Educational qualifications include studies at Victoria University of Wellington and Wellington College.
