Phill Sherring

Phill Sherring is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as Principal Advisor for Marketing at NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi since January 2023, with previous acting roles including Marketing Manager. Sherring has co-chaired the New Zealand Social Marketing Network since April 2021 and has managed campaigns for the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), focusing on biosecurity and sustainable practices. Notable experience includes leadership roles in social marketing at MPI and a secondment with the Unite Against COVID-19 initiative. Additional experience includes marketing management positions at ANZ and Housing New Zealand Corporation, with an academic background in Marketing and Communication Management from Massey University.
