Scott Elwarth

Commercial Delivery Lead - East Coast Recovery Alliance at NZ Transport Agency

Scott Elwarth has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Scott started their career as a Site Engineer for British Rail, where they worked on rail infrastructure projects. Scott then moved on to Works Consultancy Services as a Design Engineer and later joined Ian Macallan & Co as a Design Engineer, gaining experience in civil and structural projects.

In 1997, Scott became a Project Manager at Ingenieurburo Voessing, where they managed the design and construction of maintenance programs for German Shell. Scott then worked as a Site Project Manager for BBR Contech, overseeing the strengthening of bridge elements.

Scott's career then transitioned to Spiire NZ Ltd, where they held various positions, eventually becoming the Regional Leader. Scott was responsible for business development and overall performance for Spiire's northern region.

In 2014, Scott joined Auckland Transport as a Construction Manager for the City Rail Link Project. Scott later moved to City Rail Link Ltd as the Head of Delivery and subsequently served as the Owners Interface Manager for the CRL Link Alliance.

Currently, Scott is working at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency as the Commercial Delivery Lead for the East Coast Recovery Alliance.

Scott Elwarth obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Auckland between 1986 and 1989. Scott later pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration at the same university in 2006.
