Toshi Hodliffe

Toshi Hodliffe is an experienced professional in strategic planning and local government partnerships, currently serving as the Team Lead for Local Government Partnerships South Island at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency since April 2022. Toshi has a strong background in environmental management, having previously led a team at Environment Canterbury, where responsibilities included overseeing the Climate Change & Community Resilience and Air Quality, Transport & Urban Development portfolios. Prior roles include advising executive leadership at the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority and contributing to policy development while supporting various New Zealand ministers. Toshi holds a Master's degree in Applied Management from Southern Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree with First Class Honours in Political Science from the University of Canterbury.
