Federica Camisa is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale since December 2019. Prior to that, they completed their PHD at Universita degli studi della Tuscia, where they analyzed the structure and genetic diversity of populations of crustaceans amphipods associated with the seagrass Posidonia oceanica. Federica also has experience in genetic and taxonomic analysis on marine polychaetae worms, immunohistochemical analysis on planulae larvae, and collection and selection of seaweeds for cosmetic and food products. Additionally, Federica collaborated in gathering data on behavior of Great White Sharks along South African coasts for a non-profit organization.
