Gaia Buccino

Gaia Buccino is a researcher and PhD candidate currently affiliated with OGS since November 2023. Previously, Gaia held research scholarships at SISSA mathLab from November 2022 to September 2023, where the focus was on developing a master thesis project regarding Full Order and Reduced Order models for the Navier-Stokes equations in the vorticity and stream-function formulation. Gaia holds a Laurea in Mathematical Engineering - Computational Science and Computational Learning from Politecnico di Milano, completed in May 2023, and a Laurea triennale in Mathematical Engineering obtained from the same institution in 2020. Educational background also includes a diploma from Liceo Scientifico Vittorio Veneto, earned in 2015.
