Vincenzo Manna

Vincenzo Manna possesses extensive experience in marine research and environmental monitoring. Currently serving as a Research Fellow and PhD Student at OGS since November 2017, Vincenzo previously completed an internship at Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn, where involvement in the Pelagic Mesocosms Experiment focused on coastal phytoplankton bloom dynamics and microplastics pollution. Prior to this, Vincenzo worked as a Technician at CNR - IAMC from December 2011 to June 2015, participating in multiple research cruises in the western Mediterranean. An internship in Marine Pathology at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II provided skills in histological and cytological analysis of mussel tissues. Vincenzo holds both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Marine Production from the same institution.
