Vikas Gupta

Vikas Gupta is a seasoned finance academic currently serving as Area Chair at Jindal Global Business School since July 2021, where leadership involves overseeing a team of finance faculty. Vikas is also a full-time assistant professor teaching various finance subjects, including Financial Management and Digital Finance. Previous engagements include visiting professor roles at Shiv Nadar University and FORE School of Management, along with guest faculty positions at Delhi School of Management and FORE School of Management, where Vikas delivered specialized courses in financial management and business analytics. Vikas holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, focusing on IPO underpricing and sentiment analysis, and possesses advanced degrees in finance and taxation from institutions such as Delhi School of Economics and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Additionally, Vikas has contributed to mathematics education for disadvantaged children and has engaged in startup mentorship through guest speaking.
