Derik Hill

Derik Hill is a skilled Frontend Engineer with extensive experience in web development. Currently at O3 World since November 2021, Derik leads the full refactoring of a web application, collaborating with both design teams and clients to create a fully responsive customer site using Hygraph/GraphQL with NextJS and Vercel. Prior experience includes working at Wehco Inc as a Frontend Web Developer, where Derik migrated sites from an old CMS to a new Django template-based CMS while engaging with stakeholders. From December 2014 to August 2020, Derik served as a Web Developer at Consumer Testing Laboratories, converting JQuery code to vanilla JS, developing user interfaces, and interfacing with REST APIs. A graduate of freeCodeCamp with a focus on Full Stack Web Development and Computer Software Engineering, Derik also holds a degree in Business from Northwest Arkansas Community College.
