Matt Gardner

Matt Gardner is an experienced Enterprise Data Architect currently serving at the Office of the Auditor-General, New Zealand, since June 2023, where responsibilities include defining and designing data architecture in Azure and developing data migration strategies. Matt Gardner is also the Chief Data Evangelist and Managing Director of Data Gardner Limited, offering data and analytics consulting since 2014. Previously, Matt Gardner held various prominent roles at Capgemini Invent, Intergen, Greater Wellington Regional Council, and NZ Transport Agency, focusing on enterprise and solution architecture, data management strategies, and improving data quality. Matt Gardner earned a Bachelor of Arts in Information Systems from Massey University and has extensive experience in diverse data-related roles throughout the career.
