Audit and Performance

The Audit and Performance team at OAG, New Zealand, is responsible for conducting performance audits and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of audits across public entities. They develop audit policies and standards, appoint and oversee auditors, and provide independent assurance to Parliament and the public that public entities are operating in accordance with legislative and performance expectations. The team also offers strategic insights, reporting, and advice to enhance governmental accountability and transparency.
