Troy Hamblin

Troy Hamblin is the current Director of Human Resources at Oak Creek High School. Troy has over fifteen years of experience in human resources and labor relations. Troy has a bachelor's degree in human resources from Marquette University.

Troy began their career as a human resources generalist at Milwaukee County in April 2003. In this role, they were responsible for classification, compensation, and training. Troy also served as a member of the County Executive's Cabinet and represented the County Executive at events. In 2006, Troy was promoted to Director of Labor Relations. In this role, they were responsible for negotiating contracts, handling grievances, and arbitrations. Troy also led the reorganization of numerous County departments.

During their time at Milwaukee County, Troy made many accomplishments. Troy rolled back all pension benefits for new employees that were derived from the pension scandal. Troy also implemented significant changes to the County's healthcare, saving the County money. In addition, Troy reduced grievance arbitrations every year, saving the County money. Lastly, they implemented a new broadband classification/compensation system for managers.

In their current role as Director of Human Resources at Oak Creek High School, Troy is responsible for all aspects of human resources including classification, compensation, benefits, and training. Troy also provides advice on discipline and other HR issues. Troy is an expert in labor relations and has successfully negotiated multiple contracts. Troy is a strong leader and has successfully reorganize departments. Troy is dedicated to their work

Troy Hamblin's educational career began with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Knox College. Troy then went on to study Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

Troy Hamblin reports to Daniel Unertl, Superintendent. They work with Blaise Paul - Chief Business and Finance Officer, Heather Ryan - Director, Youth Programs, and Bridget Kotarak - Assistant Superintendent, Student Services.
