Alice Gentile

Alice Gentile is a seasoned professional in safeguarding and organizational development, currently serving as an Adviser at Oak Foundation since November 2023. Previously, Alice held significant roles at Terre des hommes foundation as Head of Global Ethics and Compliance Office and as a Safeguarding Specialist. With a robust background in child protection, Alice has also contributed as a Senior Child Protection Programme Manager at AVSI Foundation and a Programme Manager for Save the Children UK, focusing on regions such as the Middle East and Southern Africa. Additional experience includes leadership positions at International Medical Corps and ACTED, along with earlier roles in project development and coordination. Alice's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Advanced Child Protection Studies from the University of Birmingham and various degrees in Population and Development Sciences and Information and Communication Sciences from Université libre de Bruxelles.
