Ankan Dhal

Ankan Dhal has extensive work experience in the legal field. Ankan is currently working as a Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Oak Hill Advisors, L.P. starting from June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP as an Associate in the Finance group from October 2018 to June 2022. Ankan also had a secondment with Standard Chartered Bank as a Legal Counsel, Global Banking from November 2020 to November 2021, providing legal support for corporate finance transactions in the Americas region. Before that, they worked as an Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP from October 2016 to September 2018, representing lenders, sponsors, and corporate borrowers in various types of financings. Ankan also had a summer associate role at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP in 2015. Ankan gained experience as a Judicial Intern to the Hon. Roslynn Mauskopf at the U.S. District Courts from June 2014 to August 2014.

Ankan Dhal's education history includes several notable achievements. From 2009 to 2013, they attended Dartmouth College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Neuroscience and English. Later on, they joined Columbia Law School in 2013, pursuing their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree, which they successfully completed in 2016. In the same year, they attended Sciences Po, focusing on Global Business Law and Governance.
