Oak Hill School
Hart Roper has extensive work experience in the education sector. Hart began their career as a Middle School Teacher and Dean of Students at St. Albans School from September 2000 to June 2007. In 2008, they became the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at St. Albans School, a position they held until June 2015. From July 2015 to July 2017, they served as the Director of Major Gifts and Special Projects at Montgomery Bell Academy. Afterwards, they assumed the role of Director of Strategic Initiatives and Associate Director of Development at the same school from August 2017 to June 2018. Currently, Hart Roper is the Head of School at The Oak Hill School, a position they have held since July 2018.
Hart Roper completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Davidson College between the years 1996 and 2000. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Private School Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University. Hart attended the Klingenstein Center at Teachers College from 2007 to 2008.
