Jenny Yasecko

Jenny Yasecko has over a decade of experience in the library field. Jenny currently serves as the Department Head of Technical Services at Oak Lawn Public Library since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked for Hammond Public Library, where they held various roles such as Head of Resource Services, Head of Technical Services, and Information Services Librarian from 2016 to 2021. Jenny's career in libraries began in 2011 as a Library Clerk at Jeffersonville Township Public Library, where they worked until 2016.

Jenny Yasecko earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from Indiana University Bloomington, completing their education from 2006 to 2010. Later, they pursued a Master of Library & Information Science (M.L.I.S.) degree in the field of Library and Information Science from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, which they completed from 2014 to 2016.
