Vanessa Honorato

Vanessa Honorato is an experienced pediatric occupational therapist currently working at Oak Leyden as an Occupational Therapist and Early Intervention Specialist since January 2023. Vanessa's previous roles include serving as an Occupational Therapy Level IIB Fieldwork Student at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where a clinical rotation focused on oncology, and completing school-based rotations as an Occupational Therapy Level IIA Fieldwork Student at Hope Learning Academy. Earlier experiences include various fieldwork placements, such as working with early intervention services at Blossom Therapy and engaging in community mental health at MADO Healthcare. Vanessa holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has a background in psychology, earning a Bachelor of Arts from the same university and an Associate of Arts from City Colleges of Chicago-Harold Washington College. Vanessa also participated in a pre-doctoral fellowship with the Association of University Centers on Disabilities in the LEND Program.
