Datoya Burtin-Cox

DaToya Burtin-Cox serves as the Township Clerk for Oak Park Township and as an Arbitrator for FINRA since September 2021. Previously, DaToya held roles such as Contract Attorney at the Illinois Department of Public Health from April 2023 to April 2024, and Assistant Director Of Program Development at Pro Bono Network from September 2021 to March 2023. DaToya's experience includes working as a Technical Advisor II for the Illinois Department of Human Services and as Manager of Administrative Adjudication for the City of Chicago, where responsibilities involved overseeing staff and legal training. DaToya also served as a Senior Hearing Officer for the City of Chicago's Administrative Hearing and as an Arbitrator in the Circuit Court of Cook County. DaToya founded B-C Law Office, focusing on family law, and worked as an attorney for the City of Chicago, securing significant financial collections through adjudication. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Illinois Wesleyan University.
