David Paton

David joined Oak Ridge Financial in January 2019.

In his business, David likes to focus on value-oriented dividend growth.

David has over 30 years of experience in the financial sector, beginning his career in 1987 right before the October 19, 1987 crash. He previously held positions at Merrill Lynch, Paine Webber, Robert W. Baird and Co, and RBC Wealth Management. David was a branch manager for Baird and RBC Wealth Management.

David has been married to his wife, Sondra, for over 32 years and has three adult children. His oldest son works as a LAN administrator on the fast attack submarine USS Hawaii for the U.S. Navy, his middle son was recently married and works for Marathon Oil in their Supply Chain Department, and his daughter is an administrative assistant for an Institutional Investment firm in Downtown Minneapolis. In his free time, David enjoys bicycling and fishing. He is a retired volunteer firefighter who is currently the Chair of the Missions Committee, President of the Church Foundation, and Board Member of Neighbors Inc. in South St. Paul.
