Prasanna Balaprakash

Prasanna Balaprakash serves as the Director of AI Programs and a Distinguished R&D Scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Previously, Prasanna held multiple roles at Argonne National Laboratory, including Computer Scientist and R&D Leader, advancing through various levels. Prasanna also contributed as a Fellow at both the Northwestern-Argonne Institute of Science and Engineering and the Computation Institute at The University of Chicago. Additionally, Prasanna was the Chief Technology Officer for Data Analytics at Mentis sa, bringing extensive expertise in artificial intelligence and data science to these positions.
