Software Engineer at Oakbrook Finance

Darryl Dixon began their work experience in 2013 at Seed Software as a Software Engineer, where they developed a client's educational game and successfully published it on the Android store. In 2014, they joined Jesmond Engineering as a Software Engineer, working on a project to upgrade a legacy software system and later migrating a timesheet system to an online app. Darryl then took on the role of I.T Manager at Jesmond Engineering in 2017. Currently, Darryl is working at Oakbrook as a Software Engineer, starting in 2022.

Darryl Dixon has a strong education background in computer science. Darryl completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science from the University of Hull, which they attended from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a BTEC National Diploma for IT Practitioner from Wyke College, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. Before their BTEC National Diploma, they completed a BTEC First Diploma for IT Practitioners from the same college in 2007-2008.

In addition to their formal education, Darryl Dixon also holds a certification in "Secure by Design With Agile Threat Modelling" from Secure Delivery, which they obtained in July 2022.
