Chris Townsend

Chris Townsend is a prominent sports radio and TV host with extensive experience spanning over two decades in the Northern California sports landscape. Currently, Chris serves as the host of The Chris Townsend Show at 95.7 The Game and is the host of the Oakland Athletics pre- and post-game shows, where ratings saw an increase in 2010. Additional roles include hosting SaberCats Weekly for the San Jose SaberCats and creating a nationally-syndicated version of The Chris Townsend Show on Sports Byline Radio Network. Chris's prior experience also encompasses hosting 49ers Insider for the San Francisco 49ers and serving as a sports authority on KNBR Radio's morning show. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television, and Film from San Jose State University.
