Rhean Fajardo is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Associate General Counsel for both the Oakland Athletics and the San Jose Earthquakes Soccer, roles held since November 2019. Fajardo also contributes to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member for the USF Sport Management Master's Program starting June 2024. Previous experience includes serving as Corporate Counsel at NortonLifeLock and Complete Genomics Inc. and Deputy City Attorney for the City of Daly City. Fajardo began a legal career as Principal Attorney at Rhean Fajardo Law Office and held a role as VP Legal & Compliance at Lucky Money Inc. Fajardo holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from UC Santa Barbara.

The Athletics franchise is one of the most storied baseball clubs with a total of nine World Series championships between Philadelphia and Oakland.
