Thomas Hicks

Thomas Hicks is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Controller for the Oakland Athletics since September 2022. Prior to this role, Thomas held positions in finance at Atomic Invest for a brief period in 2022 and served as VP - Finance/Controller at Parkside from January 2021 to May 2022. Previous roles include Director of Finance at Nuveen, a TIAA company from January 2017 to November 2020, and Finance and Operations Director at Fantex from October 2013 to December 2017. Thomas also worked as Controller at Prager & Company from May 2011 to October 2013 and gained auditing experience at Deloitte & Touche, LLP (US) between September 2007 and May 2011. Thomas holds a B.A. in Business Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where studies were completed from 2003 to 2007.
