Danny Cryer

Danny Cryer is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and data science. Currently serving as Principal Data Engineer at Oakland | B Corp since September 2019, Danny has transitioned through various engineering roles within the company. Prior to this, Danny worked at Egress Software Technologies as a Data Scientist and Software Developer from October 2016 to August 2019. Danny's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Atmospheric Chemistry from the University of Leeds and a Master in Science in Chemistry with Industrial Experience from the University of Bristol. Additionally, Danny gained teaching experience as a Postgraduate Demonstrator at the University of Leeds and completed a Research and Development Internship at AkzoNobel, focusing on polymer latices for paint applications.
