John Oakland is a well-respected expert in quality management and business improvement, with over 30 years of experience as Chairman and Founding Member at The Oakland Group, which has built an international reputation through its research and partnerships with various organizations and universities. Prior to this role, John Oakland served as Chairman and Professor of Total Quality Management at the University of Bradford Management Centre from September 1979 to September 1996. John Oakland earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from The University of Salford between 1968 and 1972.
