April McGrath Lynch

April McGrath Lynch is an experienced public administration professional currently serving as the Deputy County Administrator and Human Resources Executive for Oakland County, Michigan Government since September 2019. Prior to this role, April held positions as City Manager for the City of Ferndale from August 2011 to September 2019 and as Assistant City Manager/Director of Administrative Services for the City of Ypsilanti from May 2007 to August 2011, where responsibilities included operations for a diverse populace. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Human Resources for the City of Monroe and as Assistant to the City Manager/Director of Human Resources for the City of Grand Haven. April holds a Master of Business in Human Resources from Baker College and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Grand Valley State University.
