Lauryn Ferro has extensive experience in human resources and professional development, currently serving as the Learning and Engagement Supervisor in the Human Resources department of the Oakland County, Michigan Government since February 2004. Previously, Lauryn held the title of Senior Analyst-Human Resources Trainer within the Learning and Development Unit. In addition to governmental roles, Lauryn has worked as an Intensive Specialty Court Probation Officer and Interim Deputy Court Administrator. At Local Studios, Lauryn has contributed as a Group Fitness Instructor since January 2014. Lauryn also played a key role in the Michigan Association of District Court Probation Officers, serving as Conference Chair and Newsletter Editor from September 2016 to December 2022, managing the development and distribution of a statewide newsletter. Lauryn holds a Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from the University of Detroit Mercy.
