Richard Wingard

Richard Wingard is currently serving as a SCADA ICS/OT Cybersecurity Engineer for Oakland County, Michigan Government since November 2021, where responsibilities include maintaining automation and process control infrastructure for water, wastewater, and sewer systems. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of Sr. Automation Engineer at GrayMatter from April 2019 to November 2021, focusing on designing and implementing solutions, consulting with users, and SCADA development. Richard's earlier experience includes serving as FIS SCADA Manager at Commerce Controls Inc from April 2012 to May 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Information Assurance with a focus on Cybersecurity from Eastern Michigan University (expected completion January 2024), a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from Liberty University, and an Associate's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from Oakland Community College.
