Carina Ibarra

Carina Ibarra is an experienced educator with a background in English and history. Currently serving as a 6th/7th Grade English Teacher at Coliseum College Preparatory Academy since August 2011 and as an Academic Coach at Oakland Genesis since August 2021, Carina has developed a robust skill set in academic instruction and mentorship. Previously, Carina worked as a Program Coordinator for the GIRLStart initiative at Girls Incorporated from August 2009 to August 2010. Carina holds a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Southern California, obtained in 2011, and a Bachelor's degree in English and History from the University of California, Davis, earned in 2007.
