Catherine Mackenzie is an accomplished data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and data science. Currently serving as a Data Engineer at The Oakland Group since September 2020, Catherine previously held roles as a Junior Data Engineer and Junior Data Scientist at UCAS. Earlier experience includes positions as Volunteer Coordinator at Sight Concern Worcestershire, Charity Trustee at Groundwork South Yorkshire, and Doctoral Researcher at the University of Sheffield. Additional roles include Catering Assistant at the National Trust and Research Assistant at the University of York. Catherine began a research career as a Research Intern at the Centre for GeoGenetics, University of Copenhagen. Catherine holds a BA Hons in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, earned between 2009 and 2012.
