Jazmin Garcia

Jazmin Garcia is a dedicated Program Assistant at Oakland Leaf Foundation, where responsibilities include implementing and executing After School program procedures, managing daily attendance for six student groups, and overseeing class setups and data projections. Previously, Jazmin served as a Literacy Instructor at AmeriCorps, focusing on literacy and social-emotional development for first graders. Additional experience includes a role as a Policy and Legislation Intern at the League of United Latin American Citizens, engaging in advocacy and community outreach, and volunteering at East Bay Sanctuary Covenant, assisting clients with case status and legal applications. Jazmin holds a degree in Sociology with a Minor in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
